I was looking for a clutch-style wallet because I like having all my bills laid out flat and my credit cards organized at a glance. The Brownie wallet is a pretty good wallet. When opened, the numerous compartments on the left and middle are wonderful and I love the two slots underneath for bills and tickets. The back of the middle section also has three open slots (in light green) that can be used for bills and also fits passports and one zippered compartment for coins. There are two open-view slots which I haven't figured out what to put in yet -- the sizing is a little off for a standard driver's license/ID card. There is some asymmetry in the wallet as one of the reviewers noted. The left side is higher than the right, especially when the wallet is closed (perhaps due to the bulge of the zipper?). It's not a major defect since it doesn't really affect the function of the wallet but if you're particular about perfect lines and dimensions then be aware that this could be an issue. Overall, I'm pretty satisfied with the Brownie.

One month after using this wallet the button cap is loose and about to fall off. I have used several of these wallets and given them as gifts without any problems at all. I absolutely loved these wallets, but the last one (color blue) was a real lemon.

    I own 2 of these and have washed them in the washing machine several times...they are still as good as new! Only wish is for a little inside pen loop and an outside pocket for receipts, etc.

              Bought this for myself at a wine gift shop in the Finger Lake region of NY State along with a Kipling purse (style since discontinued) at least 5-6 yrs ago! Since I retired 4 yrs. ago, they are used exclusively for everyday use and travel, and have held up unbelievably well! I have even washed them on "gentle" setting in the washing machine! I love the fact that they are lightweight! (I just wish they had not discontinued the purse: I would have ordered another one as a "back-up" for the day this one meets its demise (if ever!).

                I purchased this wallet in bright green and black so it would stand out in my purse. I found I was always hunting for my wallet. I had a much larger wallet before but everything seemed to fit into my new wallet plus it is easier to clean and I can find everything at my fingers tip.
