I just received my bag a few days ago and have been using it ever since! I got the espresso brown and love the color! The size is perfect and holds everything. The best part is, because of the awesome Kipling material, the bag is super light! It holds my iPod, nook, phone, wallet, gum, tissues, cosmetics, and everyday stuff -- all with perfect access! The strap is adjustable, but I wear mine as a crossbody. A truly wonderful bag all around that I highly recommend!

I bought this bag to go to Europe with me last year & it was the best thing! The outside pockets are great for easy access to cameras, cell phones etc, without having to dig through the main compartment, & I love that the flap with the velcro allows you to quickly close your bag when your hands are full & secure your things until a time you can fully zip the main compartment. The pockets inside are very useful & it holds a surprising amount of things without being too big & heavy to carry around all day. I was easily able to fit my travel guide book, maps, small umbrella, rain poncho, small sun screen, small hand sanitizer, snacks, a bottle of water, & occasionally a lightweight sweater. If I had a bulkier jacket, it comfortably hung over the top of the bag leaving my hands free. It has now been with me more places that I can count & is one of my favorite travel items. I bought it in black & it still looks brand new dispute being rained on severly several times, (is water proof & kept all my belongs safe & dry inside), being dropped, & items spilled on it or inside it (there was a nasty ice cream incident!) & everytime it has wiped away completely clean with a damp cloth. If you are looking for a quality bag that will hold everything neatly & comfortably at your side without being bulky & in your way then I highly recomend this bag! You will enjoy it for years to come as I plan to!

I love the compartments inside the bag - there's a space for two pens, a cell phone, and an inside zipper compartment. All the zippers are great quality, and the bag material is great (Water-resistant!). The only cons I can think of is that the velcro makes the flap a bit frayed. When I close the bag quickly, I don't place the two pieces of velcro EXACTLY on each other, so sometimes the flap becomes frayed when I pull it off the velcro, but it isn't even noticeable (:

LOVE the Rita bag! Purchased it for going to baseball tournaments with the kids, when I need to have my usual things plus magazines and sunscreen and the kids' things. It is awesome! The fabric is thick and durable, sturdy zippers, no fear of cramming this bag with everything. Plenty of zippered compartments. Just wish it had that back zippered pocket. It is bigger than I would need on a daily basis.

I love this bag! I have it the dark gray color (that seems to be discontinued) and it is excellent! The bag is the perfect size for everyday use. I live in Germany and walk/ride my bike everywhere, so having a bag that isn't too large or small is important. I can fit all of my stuff (and hold things for my boyfriend) and I never feel that the bag sits uncomfortably. My only complaint is the velcro tab at the front. I don't like how noisy velcro is and I wish they would've made it a snap front instead. But seriously, this bag is perfect and I want it in every color!

I am a stay-at-home mom of an active three year old and was looking to upgrade my diaper bag. I needed something big enough to hold a few toddler essentials (snacks, wipes, one diaper) without feeling like I was lugging the whole house with me. The Rita bag comes close to being perfect for an on-the-go mom like me. The dimensions are ideal for a petite person (5'3") and doesn't overwhelm like other bulky bags. I like how streamlined and structured the bag is. When you open the velcro latch, there are two small zippered compartments good for a lipgloss, coinpurse or cardholder. The main compartment is zippered and opens up to a wide slot good for a blackberry/cellphone and a narrower slot for a pack of tissues or a pack of gum. There are also two pen/pencil slots. There is a key leash as well as a zippered interior pocket inside the main compartment. The only thing missing (which would have made it a perfect 5 stars) is an outside zippered compartment at the back of the bag. I prefer having easy access to some items without opening up the whole bag. Overall, the Rita bag is smart and functional and I am very happy with this bag.

I got this knowing that it's going to be very useful. It's more like small version of messenger bag with many compartments to organize your stuff. I use when going to trips (short or long) since it frees my hands and easy excessability. I like the fact that every compartment has zipper so even if shaken around nothing drops.

My 6 y/o son wanted a messenger bag for carrying his trinkets (DS, cards, small toys) so I ordered this in blue which is perfect size for kids as well. Its not overwhelming size like some other messenger bags. Very versatile and sturdy. He has been abusing his for about 3 months and still looks new. It's going to last very long time so it's worth every penny!
