I bought this bag in five minutes to use on a busines trip. I was able to fit multiple outfits for day and night, three pairs of shoes, workout clothes, toiletries and more to last for a five night six day trip and I did not have to check it. This bag fit easily into the overhead compartment. It was a last minute purchase but well worth it. It fit SO much more than my 23 inch rolling suitcase I had been using. I bought the matching computer bag too. Very cute. only downside: it does have 2 small outside pockets but I wish it has one larger outside pocket

Love this piece of luggage, fits easily into the over head bins! It starts light weight and has great wheels, my favorite feature about it is that you can fold it down and so I am able to store it in my other luggages. I was weary about it at first but the girls that helped me that the SF store put my mind at ease and all the features they mentioned I love and use! Great store, and even greater product!!! =]

As a petite 53 yr old, I hate to carry-on real luggage, so for the last 20 years I've checked my bigger bag, and then used a nylon zippered tote that fits under the seat for books, camera (big),jacket, snacks, etc. But on the return leg of a recent trip, the weight of the tote compelled me to step into a luggage shop. My old tote fit easily inside the Madison and I liked the red color so I bought it. It was a bit difficult to get it under the middle seat, so I hoisted it up in the overhead bin on the next leg, after scrambling to take out a book. If you are used to putting things in the overhead bin, you will love this bag. On the plus side I LOVE the quality wheels . . . and it was easy to get it down the aisle. It could use a water bottle pocket on the outside. Considering how long I used my last tote, the Madison should easily last 20 years.

I have used the Madison 22 for carry-on air travel. It is roomy and sturdy but could use an outside pocket for magazines, etc. Also, I am not able to lift it into the overhead compartments even when lightly packed. I have always had to ask a hunky guy for help. I use the 30 inch duffel (no wheels) as checked baggage because of the wt restrictions. The wheeled bags are too heavy and so the amount you can pack without penalty is small. I use a bungee cord to attach the 30-inch duffel to the Madison. I wish the Madison 22 was not so heavy, but I love the quality construction and materials.

I love this bag because it is a carry-on duffel. Duffels that roll are so easy to carry around or roll through the airport and to your hotel. This is the perfect size too. Most rolling duffels are way too big but this is the perfect size because it is small enough for a carry-on and has enough room for everything and ever trip.

Great Carry On!

I bought this in an old color on sale, best purchase ever. I was looking for a carry-on that was different, held a lot, and lightweight. This is it! I over pack and with my old bag I could only get one pair of high heels, and maybe a 1-2 outfits for a weekend away. This I packed for 5 days, with the toiletries. No trying to add a bigger purse to get it all on the plane without checking. Fits great in the overhead, a little tipsy when upright, but I think that was me trusting it. The inside straps seemed short, and the zipper sticks a little at first, but again I packed a lot for my weekend away with the girls. So much better than the regular suitcase carry-ons.. I am sure duffel styles hold so much more. Get packing squares to help. Folds up small for storage. Perfect! My husband only doesn't like the color, hot pink, but it was on sale and for me so real men can carry pink. The inside is lined in a light print to make it easier to see.
