I use this bag for fabric samples. I do not overload it and I like it because it is easy to organize, it looks good and it is easy to maneuver through airports when I have two bags. I am a fan of Kipling and have had several over the years. On a recent trip to Atlanta, the retractable handle would not pull up when I claimed my luggage . Airport personnel tried to help me but I did not want to break the bag. I managed to get it to my hotel where I took everything out and tried to see what was I causing the handle to jam. No luck. The frame does not look bent but the handle is stuck on one side. The bag is quite new - I have not made many trips with it. However, this problem and reading a couple of similar stories make me think that Kipling bags are not as reliable as I thought. I hate having a perfectly good bag that I cannot send back for repair. Into the landfill -? NOT GOOD.

Chose this model after looking at quite a few brands, Kipling was so stylish and fun, and also practical. Going with 24" now for overseas trips as the larger size we used to use can get overweight too easily. Bought 2 of these, they've had 3 overseas trips so far and are holding up fine. You can fit quite a few flat clothes in the inside top lid pocket, and this helps provide cushioning too. I chose the 2 wheels rather than spinners as I think spinner wheels can get broken easier during baggage handling. I bought the carry on Tucson to match these, and I'm pleased with that also.

I love Kipling products and have bought them since the beginning of the company. I've traveled around the world with Kipling suitcases and carry-on bags and they're still in one piece.

I only had a problem with one suitcase as there was a manufacturing defect. But, I took it back to the Kipling boutique and it was sent back to Kipling and my suitcase was quickly replaced.

The second time I used this suitcase, the bottom knob fell off; Kipling does not have good customer service and local shops can't repair the luggage for lack of parts. Now I am stuck with an expensive and defective suitcase that is now unusable because the bottom will leak without the part.

I travel for personal reasons and I thought this would be a good, sturdy bag especially when I saw the big metal zipper. I was wrong the zipper lost five "teeth" with in the first year and a half of use. Now I understand why the warranty is for only one year. The bags are not expected to last any longer!

We use to travel with Tumi and Hartman 26 inch for long trips. The 24 inch Las Vegas Kipling is much more practical for fitting in taxis. We are 60 and this size was easy for us to handle. Red for me and black for my husband.
