I just love this purse! I have other name brand purses such as "Burberry" and "LV" and "Michael Kors" but none compare to my Kipling Fairfax purse, I just love it! It has so many compartments that keep all my stuff organized. All other fancy purses have one big compartment and I have the hardest time finding my stuff. With this purse, I can easily reach for my stuff because it is so organized.I highly recommend this purse to everyone with a busy schedule, life, kids, activities, and on the go. Great purse, I can just put in in the washing machine and comes out like new. Great material very washable.

The major difference between the Fairfax and Defea (for me) was the fact that the Defea had a base. Both bags can stand up on their own when placed on a table, but the Defea has a more solid base, whereas the Fairfax doesn't really have a sturdy bottom unless you have stuff inside.

I was torn between the Defea and Fairfax in the Kipling store, but I chose the Fairfax because it fit more comfortably under my arm - the Defea is wider, depth-wise. The fairfax is more comforming to the under-arm, making it a great shoulder bag. Plus, it has more compartments than the Defea! :)

The Fairfax bag is brilliant! I was already a lifetime fan of Kipling bags, owning 2 Becky, a Defea, and a Morrisey, but the Fairfax is probably the most useful in terms of every day. The size is not too small, and not too large. Plus, I'm a plus size woman who likes to wear bags cross-body, and it's difficult to find straps long enough for me, but Kipling's straps are adjustable and so generous, that I never have a problem. And once it's filled with all of my stuff, I still barely know it's there because it's so lightweight and fits so well on me. The espresso brown color is also a gorgeous, rich brown that'll go with practically everything I wear. Although I may have to have another Fairfax in a lighter, fun color for summer! Thanks again Kipling!

I got my first Kipling bag 13 years ago from the Kipling outlet where the monkey attached to the bag got a tail. From that time on, I never stopped buying everytime a new color comes out regardless of the style and I buy 3-4 pieces at the same time just to get different style so I could match it with my uniform to work or going out. I get frustrated if I can't get even just a piece if there is a new color that comes out because I know it will be discontinued after.I have a record of all the bags from the wallet to the luggages. Sounds crazy but it's true. My friends told me I need "therapy" because of how I spend buying the kipling bags but to tell you all, my co-workers and friends are hooked to the kipling bag now so I make sure that when there is a new color, I tried to get at least two different styles and wear to work so they will know that I am the first to have that color and of course with the matching lunch bag if there is available. At work, they call me " kipling lady". Kipling bag is the BEST.
