This has turned out to be the perfect everyday bag for me.

It hold everything I need, and will fit my ipad if i want to bring it along.

It is lightweight and flat so it fits nicely against the body, and stays put when moving around. I no longer stuggle with keeping the bag on my shoulder if I bend over to pick something up or get groceries out of my trunk.

Very comfortable to carry or wear!

I love that the interior is a light color, so it's easy to find what's in your bag.

I also like that the zippered pockets are all on the top or front of the bag, so I don't have to take the bag off to get to any of the pockets. This is a huge plus for a cross body bag! When you wear your bag cross body a majority of the time, the pockets on the back of the bag or the sides are somewhat inconvenient, and really only accessible if you put the bag down.

I can wear this bag comfortably for most activities, and because it is durable and easy to wash, I don't feel like I have to change bags if we are going to the park, zoo, a field trip, or someplace out of doors.

The only downside to this bag, if any, is that it has no base to it, so it won't stand up on it's own if you do set it down on a counter or the car seat. It lies on it's side.

I'm really happy with this bag, and now have it in the original, the Alvar M, and the XS. The original gets the most use, however.

It has a little extra room to fit extra if I need, yet still very light and easy to carry if it is not full.

I highly recommend this bag.

I'm a commuting art-student. This bag is perfect for carrying my sketchbooks, along with my Kindle or a book, and some art supplies. The compartments are perfectly sized for me and help me stay organized. Also, I've always loved cross-body bags and this one feels lighter than most, even with all my stuff in it.

The only thing I would say is that I got the Ochre bag and the color is beautiful but wasn't what I was expecting. The fabric has yellow highlights to give it a little more dimension. I'm not sure if the other colors have the same thing.

I used my bag for the first time on a 7 day trip to the northwest. The adjustable straps made it convenient for changing the weight of the bag during the day. It eliminated the pain I usually get in my shoulders from carrying my bag only on one side. I was even able to keep my bag strapped to me during the airplane flight. Most other bags are to bulky to share the airplane seat.

My physical therapist said to downsize my bag and to get one with a wider strap for my neck and shoulder pain. This bag holds all my stuff yet isn't too heavy and clumbersome.

I am a sucker for bags with compartments which is why i'm such a Kipling fan. And I use this bag almost everywhere i go especially during weekends and even short trips. I love that you can adjust the straps easily and its comfortable both as a crossbody or shoulder bag. All my stuffs like my phone, tissues, wallet, pens, shopping list, my daughter's toys all go in different compartments so they are easy to retrieve. I've got mine in blue and i don't mind getting myself another one, especially a purple one. Thanks Kipling for making a great everyday bag!
