About Me Stylish
Comments about Kipling Alcatraz II Backpack with Laptop Protection:
I got this for 7th grade and it had such a major use for me because my backpack was so heavy and when I got this it made it easier plus it last longer and also it did not strain my back and it made it easier for me to carry my books even whens it heavy.. The Scariest(in a good way) thing is ALL my books fit inside and I did not have to carry any books in my hand since I take a lot of stuff especially I bought the matching pencil case and lunch bag and a few lovely supplies that makes me look stylish..SO this Has a lot of use especially when Traveling

About Me Bargain Hunter, Mother of two
Two years ago, we got a roller backpack for our older daughter for grades 7 and 8 (now it can be used for travelling) and the bag is STILL IN GOOD CONDITION.We decided to get the Alacatraz for our younger daughter, no doubt because of past experience, for her use the next two (2) years!!!We brought it home as a carryon!!!!!!

About Me Practical
I like the product. I love how its convertible to a backpack but it is a bit uncomfortable when you make it into a backpack though. There are many pockets in the bag but not so much room then I expected though. But the price should really go down though.

About Me Bargain Hunter, Practical, Stylish
I use my rolling backpack for travel (great on Planes), farmer's markets, street faires, & whenever I want to bring extra things with me anywhere. My Sherpa Carry-On Tote fits perfectly on top. All the pockets on these two marvelous pieces of provide for lots of uses. Add the Lancelot Cross-Body/ Travel Bag and you're good to go. By the way the later is perfect for an iPad and still has room for wallet, etc.

I've had this bag for about five years, and it's great. I use it mostly for weekend and short trips (10 days). It holds a lot but is small enough to carry on a plane. The little flap on the top is good for tickets and directions, and the front zippered pouch is roomy enough for my in-flight accessories (inflatable neck pillow, paperback), a pair of flip flops--an iPad or Kindle will fit in there, too. There's also a zippered mesh pouch in the front compartment, which is great for a pen, lip balm, mugger money, etc. I wish it had a ring or a lanyard for keys. The main interior compartment is rectangular and roomy. Mine doesn't have any compartments--although the new model sounds like it has one for a laptop, which would be nice. I wish there were a couple of small zippered pouches on the inside of the front flap for small things. I really like the way the shoulder straps stash away in the back, and the hardware on them is very sturdy. As an added bonus, I use the shoulder straps to strap my tote bag to the top when I'm pulling it on wheels with the handle (I'm probably not the first person to think of that). The wheels and retractable handle are sturdy, and the fabric so far seems pretty indestructible--and waterproof, too.
