Comments about Kipling Child Small Backpack:

I got this backpack for my 6 y/o son. He wanted my Rita Medium Bag so I got him a dusty blue one awhile ago. He enjoys using it when we are on trips or whenver he feels he has more than a couple of things to carry. It's actually a very nice sized bag for children since it's not over sized like most messenger bags. However, I noticed that a small backpack might be more comfortable and decided to take a chance. I ordered charcoal grey and it's really beautiful color. The color will hide abuse and many uses by my son and it goes with many of his outfits. The bag is big enough for him to carry a small chapter book or two, DS, little trinkets and snack. There are one zippered compartment and non-zipper compartment inside as well to organize. The front main zipper compartment hold DS which is a big plus (easily excessible) and size comopartments could hold candies, pencils, crayons. The flap open is velcro and I thought it is little unconvenient compare to Rita since one has to put the velcro strap through the ring to close it. (Rata bag has veclo attatched to ring so takes less time) Usually, my son doesn't bother with velcro since the bag's main compartment has zipper anyways. But for aesthetic reason's Kipling should consider changing design a little and make it like Rita. Most kids won't like putting through velcro strap through ring.....
But other than that, I love this backpack~

Comments about Kipling Child Small Backpack:

I use this backpack for carrying around my cell phone charger, medications, small phone book and other stuff that I normally don't carry in my small handbag. I used to carry around a cosmetic bag with tons of stuff, but now I use one of the outer pockets for all that. It usually stays in my car, but it does go everywhere with me. I don't like to carry lots of stuff while walking around the malls and doing grocery pickups. Great backpack and worth the price!
