I switch out my handbags weekly because each one serves a purpose for an occasion, design, and functionality. I find myself committed to using the Dafea, even if it doesn't match the color of my outfit. The design and material is unique. Very casual, bold, and utilitarian-like. It goes great with a pair of jeans and I find that it pulls together well with even a more feminine outfit which could include a pencil skirt and a nice blouse. The Dafea holds many things and is very lightweight. The outside front pockets are very useful but I don't find it easy to utilize the side velcro pockets. The problem with it is the velcro has a tendency to scratch against your hand when you try to reach down for your belonging. Overall, this is a bag that can easily become a favorite for all.

Love the design of this bag, as well as the quality of materials. I have many handbags, and this seems to be the one I defer to for everyday use, as well as I wouldn't be without it for travel. It is roomy without being oversized. Plus I love that it is very lightweight, but still has quality hardware. Would love one in every color!

I just received my 3rd Defea in Magnetic. I was hesitant at first as to me the color looks blue. I couldn't believe it when I opened the box, it is the most gorgeous color of purple, which is what I was hoping for. I finally ordered it because QVC-UK advertises it as "Magnetic Purple". Kipling quality is the best, they have different color choices, and the Defea has a place for absolutely EVERYTHING and still room for more.

This is my go-to purse for everyday use. Great place for every item and I can find it "by feel".
Not too deep so that I "lose" stuff at the bottom - holdS ALOT but still keeps everything visible.
I have an animal print (brown/white) and it is COOL!

This bag is great for school, work... or everyday use for those of us that enjoy big bags. Really a terrific amount of space and organization, and it doesn't look too excessive or bulky.

I also like the way the strap can be removed for a different look.

The Defia Medium handbag by Kipling offers great space and easy access to the zippered compartments.

This bag can be used for many different occasions of your choice such as from going to a hip party to going to work. I love the Kipling monkeys as their signature mark and I like the one's that are not plastic since they represent the fun and outgoing side of a girl.

I never had any problems with the Kipling bags I own. The only downfall is that Kipling is a little pricy in terms of the quality of the bags, luggage, and etc.

Overall, I would recommend this bag to any girl, lady, or teen who wants to add colour, convience, and fun to their hectic lifestyle with style.

I spent the first week of July in Paris where I first noticed this bag on three different women. I thought that it is very attractive, versatile and a must for travel. I checked for it in Paris, but found the prices are too high. Upon return, I checked your website and was happy to see that it is better value here! I bought two in "summer" and "winter" colors.

I use this bag every day. It's the best bag I have ever owned. I'm glad it's not leather because it never looks worn out! It has a lot of room and zippered compartments for cell phone, keys, hand cream, etc. and the main compartment is zippered and very roomy. I'm tempted to buy another one in another color. Mine is black and looks fantastic all the time. Many people have commented on how unique and attractive it is. Highly recommended!

I absolutely LOVE this bag! I bought my first Defea at Dillard's about a month ago and just fell in love. It's the right size and shape, has more than enough pockets both inside and outside. My only wish were that the two velcro pockets on the sides had a larger opening so a water bottle could fit. If this style of bag came in a light weight leather, I'd be on it! I'd buy one in every color leather offered.

Well, I'm back, and I DID get the DEFEA in True Blue! The size is perfect for daily use. It's got plenty of room for toiletries, my PIXI wallet (matching True Blue), sunglass case, and paperback, with room to spare. (Hey, you can probably fit a Chi, a Pom, or a Pug puppy in there.)

There are plenty of options to organize (I'm a bit of a freak here). Currently, I'm using the left, front pockets for cellphone and car keys; and the right, front pockets for my assorted lipsticks, lip gloss, small mirror, etc. - you know, for that quick touch-up.

The side pouches are also great for quickly slipping in your cellphone, keys, or sunglasses; and not have to worry about them falling off (Velcro, baby!).

The full-length, zippered pocket in the back is great to stow away the optional cross-body strap - which, by the way, has the perfect width, as it does not dig into my shoulders - Yay! It's also perfect for snail-mail/letter-sized envelopes, without having to fold them in half.

I love the dual-carry handles for a quick grab, when I'm on the run. The shoulder strap gives you the freedom to browse, or shop around, hands-free.

The DEFEA has quickly become one of my favorite Kipling bags. :)

Oh, by the way, I just bought the FAIRFAX, for the more subtle look at the office. I can't wait for it to arrive...

I love this bag!! I have this in white with matching neris kipling wallet (as make up pouch) and they look nice together. The defea handbag is perfect on the go esp. with my 11 mos old baby, everything I needed for him fits inside. The pockets are very useful to store keys, metro card, candy and etc. I like this bag a lot because I can either wear it on my shoulder or cross the body. I'm now a kipling fan and will buy again but different styles in the future. I highly recommend this bag!!!

I now see how Defea is one of Kipling's bestsellers worldwide. There are pockets everywhere. Initially I thought the look was too casual but when I received it as a Christmas gift from a Kipling collector and tried it on, it fit just right and I was delighted. Straps snug over my shoulder with winter coat on I don't need the extended strap.

Great every day bag. I hate bags that sit on the car seat and collapse so you can't get anything out with one hand. This bag sits there and I can get anything out I need. It's not heavy like a leather bag, the nylon is a little crinkled so it looks cool, someone thought it was suede. I insist on front pockets for phone, lip gloss and iPod and due to the zippers this bag actually has 3 very useful front pockets - perfect! This bag is great, I can hold it in my hand with the two short straps or over my shoulder if I need to which when shopping is a must. The only thing which would make this bag any better is if it had a center divider but I've gotten use to not having one. The brown color is a great shade of brown. I just got a second one in plum and it's a great rich shade.
