Comments about Kipling Mimi Handbag Organizer:
While it stows away neatly, this Mimi design is quite odd for an internal bag organizer. I have several organizers of different brands (most more costly) already but bought this on impulse. Mimi folds at all the wrong places, when using it you have to unfold it the other way and the portion with the rubber logo doesn't do anything actually it gets in the way. Specifically there are 4 equal-sized pockets and 3 default folds, a couple of them in the middle of the pockets. Prior to usage I have to force fold at the seams otherwise the pockets will be too stiff and flat. Kipling could have added pockets to the exterior including closed ones for small items, and added a Velcro tab to one of the pockets so the logo flap could stay in place rather than getting in the way when transferring into another bag. Everything fell out of its pockets while switching bags, which defeated its purpose. If your wallet is bigger than New Money, it will not fit into the pocket. Maybe Kipling could consider using a lighter nylon like the 240d interior bag material, the Mimi is heavier than all my bag organizers even though it has fewer pockets... or just completely re-design the organizer. Mimi doesn't fit all Kipling bags though, only medium-sized flat ones like Corto and Arkan, and those with spacious interiors like Grapevine, Jeel, and Defea. Will not fit Fairfax nor Robin, nor smaller bags. I got Mimi in Bright Rose, a pretty bright fuchsia, monkey named Angie.
