This is a wonderful bag to carry on a flight or for a short weekend trip. I have also checked this bag in when I had to carry shampoos home and it withstood the stress of being tossed around with no problem. Not only is it easy to carry, but I like that there is a pocket in the back so that I can slip it over my roller bag. I am not disappointed at all in this bag.

I couldn't travel without this bag. I use it as my second carry on luggage, along with my matching Kipling New York 22" Juicy Pink. It slips right on to the handle of my New York 22" for easy transport. Great size, holds alot of stuff. Comfortable to carry and great design.

I couldn't travel without my Sherpa. I use it as my second carry on luggage, along with my matching Kipling 22" Expandable Trolley in Black. As with all of my other Kipling bags, the Sherpa is lightweight, and high quality. This bag makes a great weekender bag too. Plenty of room, pockets and easy to keep everything organized. Plus it slips right on to the handle of my Trolley for easy transport. Shoulder strap and double hand/shoulder handles make this great bag easy to carry. I love it so much that I bought one in Red too. I use that one when I have a lot to carry to work.

I had a bag that was very similar that finally wore out, so I bought this bag to replace it. Imagine my surprise when it arrived and I found out that the bag is actually lightly padded to help keep its boxy shape. Padded = Heavy. While my old lined but unpadded one weighed a little over 1lb, this bag weighs in at 2lbs!

I travel intra-Europe a lot and there is a strict 5kg/11lb limit for your single allowed carryon, so a lightweight bag is essential.

However, the front zipped area contains an organization panel for pda, pens, cellphone, and the 2 front pockets are handy for the your 3-1-1 bag and your inflatable pillow in the other. The sleeve on the back is designed to slip over the trolley handle. All these features were not in my old bag. The size of this bag is also the largest size permitted as your personal bag on cross-Atlantic or cross-Pacific flights.

Overall I would highly recommend this bag for the size, shape and features. My only gripe is the padding and the extra weight. But this is possibly the lightest full-featured bag on the market today.

It is good looking enough to double as a shopping tote, a gym bag, a daytrip bag or a weekend bag.
