Buttery soft luxurious matte leather, and super lightweight which is a plus! The only heavy part is the monkey head keyring which alone weighs more than the bag! Cotton interior lining is lovely, comes with the usual organizing pockets and the cell phone slot is padded. Initially couldn't decide between Bordeaux or Camel and eventually settled for Bordeaux which is a great choice, looks better than pictured and wine-browns are so on trend these days. The chain strap is short with just about enough clearance with a thin winter coat but not with thick flannel ones. 3 cons: unfinished leather is prone to scratching (I suppose this is its purpose for a vintage look), and would have preferred a dustbag over the flimsy cardboard box it came in. I have Kipling leather bags from the Club range and they all came with dustbags, I don't know why this didn't especially with the delicate leather. Lastly there's no key fob with this collection. Despite these cons I still love the bag, just have to take greater care when using it.
