I got this bag in black so my SO could also use it. In the dark colors it is the perfect unisex carryon bag that is much more stylish (and lighter) than the Brigg & Riley crowd.

This bag's capacity is very similar to the Sherpa bag, but has 1 carry handle on the top rather than 2 shoulder straps making it look less purselike. The included shoulder strap is long enough to carry this bag cross body and the double zippered trolley-sleeve on the back can either be used as a trolley sleeve or as a full length back pocket for magazines and reading material.

The organizational panel in the front zippered pocket is convenient and a very thoughtful touch.

One of the 2 main compartments opens fully like a book - suitcase style - and is easy to pack and organize your things. The second main section has zippers extending halfway down and is perfect for sliding shirts, shoes and even a large laptop in.

I can pack a week's worth of clothing for a European summer trip in this along with an extra pair of dressy sandals. (I travel very light) I have used it as an overnight bag, a business bag to hold samples, and my SO has used it as his personal bag for long distance flights in addition to his larger 15-year old 22" Kipling Pullman carryon (almost exactly the same as this bag but 22" and minus the trolley sleeve and organizational panel).

This bag is also lighter and less bulky than the Sherpa which is lightly padded.

I absolutely adore this bag. I got it in plum and love how clean and modern it looks. At first, I thought it was a little small, but I just used it for a weekend trip and was able to fit an amazing amount of stuff into it. My friends were all amazed because I kept pulling out more and more things from this tiny bag! Definitely the best short-term travel bag I own.
